Since December 2015 when I picked up my new Tesla Model S 70D the car has started and run and performed and put that Tesla smile on my face everyday. Power is there instantly from a standstill or while attempting to merge or pass. And for such a big car, it handles really well in the corners with it's low center of gravity. From what I hear, the same is true, if not more so, of the Model 3 and Model Y. It has never let me down.
And it does all of this with those minor panel gaps. Frankly, I never noticed the gaps until so many OCD reviewers and wanna-be reviewers pointed them out. Could be worse, could be a BMW or a Mercedes with no panel gaps, lush interiors but frequent visits to service to fix major engine, transmission and other system problems, not to mention the arm and the leg it cost for repairs. No, I'll take the gaps & the reliability any day for the smile my Tesla puts on my face everyday.

Your guys' videos 95% convinced us to get a Kia Telluride; we were about to do so before friends were adamant that we seriously consider a Tesla. After researching and test driving - it was no contest. Put in our order for Model Y Long Range... but est. delivery date Jan/Feb/Mar '22 window... so we updated it to Model Y Performance and should be here in mid-late September! Great review gentlemen! Elon is right...they will sell a crap ton of these to forward thinking buyers who value performance and technology in a larger package, despite build quality issues and perhaps some traditional luxury compromises.
