having sensor issues in 2023 when sensors have been flawless since 2019 is actually insane

I picked up the Model O Pro 4k/8k from my local Best Buy and experienced the same sensor skipping issue mentioned in your video(even being on most up to date firmware version) . Not to mention that the there was a heavy amount of post travel on both side buttons. Not sure if it was just my copy but I returned it and am sticking with my Viper V2 Pro.

aaah.... glorious. They never cease to impress me! The only company I didn't know where they get all the Hype from. I guess minecraft kids?

I actually haven't had any issues at all with the D2 Pro 4k/8k. I've honestly been impressed when comparing to the GPX2 and DAV3. The 8k wired option is a bonus feature that the other mice don't have.

Yesss, dpi button on mouse is super important to me since I use that button as a setting for a lot of my games.

I don't understand how your verdict is recommending the mouse, if after the firmware update that purports to fix connectivity/interference issues, you're still experiencing spinouts. That seems like a very problematic sensor implementation that every single competitor in its price range has never had an issue with. Could you explain why spinouts are not a dealbreaker for you?

I've been using the classic Model O Wired version since the release (2019) and the right click finally got faulty.
Was thinking about buying this, or maybe the Model O Pro (the first one) during Black Friday next month.
Not sure if a 4k mouse is worth 150€, seems very expensive for a plastic shell with some electronics in it...

I have this mouse. Total of 0 issues so far in terms of the sensor. Maybe a firmware update sorted it. I ordered mine on release.

To be fair the Logitech Gpro superlight has had issues with spinouts for 3 years that aren't even fixed on the SuperLight 2.

Too be fair, their QC issues have not been so bad that it ruined the use of the mouse for me like the DA v3 Pro, the Pwnage Stormbreaker and a few others. I have their model d 2 copies, model d wireless and model d pro. All of them are still completely usable and acceptable nothing about them is amazing build quality but nothing is also so bad it effects feeling or in game. Not the case with 3 copies of the da 3 pro which all had creaking and mouse button grinding issues and 1 having a false click before the real click on the back button. The pwnage stormbreaker has had a constant issue with the right mouse button that is basically sticking. Multiple times to improve it have mad it usable but it's still not perfect. This is within a month for all 3 copies of v3 pro and stormbreaker. $150 and $190 dollar mice having issues within a month. All of my glorious mice don't have any serious issues like that. Not a single one. My zowie ec1-cw is fine except the coating wearing off in a month but that's classic zowie and I knew that, and my Lamzu thorn that I've had for about a month now is as solid as the day I opened it. Those are the only 2 mice that have been as solid as the day I got them. Glorious had some issues but none that made a big deal, all the v3 pro and stormbreaker issues made it actually annoying to use and felt while mid game.

So honestly, I cut glorious a lot of slack considering their QC issues is more of a well that sucks but it's also a fraction of the price of these other "high end" mice that are practically unusable after a month that all cost almost 2x their price. Yeah and glorious customer service is amazing. Razer essentially tells you to f off, and pwnage is okay but they essentially would rather you deal with the issue yourself having a fkd mouse or send it in to be "tuned" that will take a month than actually send you a new copy. Glorious has sent me out a free copy every single time I had issue with a mouse. No return, I show a video of an issue I got a free replacement within a week or a discount if the issue wasn't a big deal and I was okay with it. That's how it should be. The problem shouldn't be thrust on the customer who already paid for your piece of crap junk.

Even though I don't currently daily drive any of my glorious mice you can't bash on them near as much as razer or other brands for having more QC issues that actually do effect the real performance and use of the mouse where all my Glorious mice do not have that issue and they still take care of me better than razer or pwnage and their mice cost $150 and $190 compared to $70 and $99. Glorious is far more deserving of the money than Razer or Pwnage imo. I can't speak to pulsar mice havn't used one and Lamzu so far has been the only ultra lightweight mouse I have used that has not had a QC issue within a month of use. Besides the zowie but it's not really ultra lightweight.

I dont think the skipping is a problem with the mice. I recently started having on my Razer Orochi V2. Its a windows update that causes it. Uninstalling the Razer driver, but no restart fixes it, as soon as I restart its broken again...

Love the shape of the d2 pro. Closest I've gotten to my coveted g500 shape. But the dpi changing on startup or switching from wired to wireless is a deal breaker. Back to best buy it goes.

what is for a large hand category then? 128 is the longest measurement out of all the top mice. OG model O is the greatest shape for large-handed people

"I tried everything" except swapping out your mouse pad. It was a pre-production unit and theres a chance it wasn't fully ready to work on all surfaces. That being, I still think its kind of insane that there were issues at all.
