Women's Self-Defence - More than just punches and kicks

At Guardian Defence, we look at self-defence in a holistic way. Firstly, yes, it's good to get some strong physical skills. With that knowledge and ability comes confidence that can free us from fear. Knowing that we can take care of ourselves lets us get on with our lives and do the things we love.

With that said, we'd prefer to avoid the violence altogether, and that comes down to being aware of what and who is around us. By adding good pre-fight skills we reduce the chance of things escalating past simply evading the situation in the first place, but we know if it does we can take care of any eventuality.

We have put together a powerful 12-week online Women's Self-Defence program that will teach you all of that and more. You're invited to come and check it out with a 7-day free trial.

In-person courses run in Coburg North Victoria Australia. Details can be found at:

🌸 Tip don’t go in secluded dark places at night
Stay in safe public places
Need to run, you can run on machines at ladies gym
When you chose to run outside have buddy system, don’t make dumb decisions, make wise ones

So much of it is done with awareness, and common sense like not going out alone. Of course it's not 100% effective, nothing is (Seriously, there is no perfect defense) but women know a lot of this stuff. Girls know a lot of this stuff. If there's more than one of you, he can't grab one without the other screaming, and calling the cops. As far as "More than just punches, and kicks."
