WAS THAT THE QUEEN! - Alien Isolation Gameplay Moments

I've been a diehard Alien fan virtually all my life, so I swear that that is the Queen screeching. Gave me the chills hearing this while wearing expensive surround sound headphones, even though I've played this game before and know I shouldn't worry about her. BUT STILL!

Imagine if they made the hive a one-off encounter with the queen instead. Rather than have a pair of xenos stalking the next for you, the corridors are monolithic in size, granting much freer reign for her to stalk the halls, each footfall shaking the screen. You'd have crawlspaces to get out of her reach, but there's occasionally softer bits of cover she can rip off, meaning if you aren't far enough from those openings, she can rip you out and kill you. For the spaces she can't reach you in or you start burning too many eggs, she'll then start summoning drones or additional facehuggers to help flush you out. Then since your trek back to the elevator always is scripted to summon a xeno to your position to chase you into the elevator car, it should instead be the xeno queen, giving chase like you're Ian Malcolm from Jurassic Park.

There was no queen on Sevastopol station, just a group of xenomorphs playing poker and accusing one another of cheating

From what I understand of the Xenomorphs biology, when there is no Queen present, the strongest Xenomorph will evolve and become the new Queen, entering a chrysalis like state, before finally emerging as the new Queen. Taking this into account, it’s likely that the Xenomorph from patient zero, became the Queen, taking a small number of the station’s inhabitants with it to a secluded location before going into its chrysalis, thus when it lays its first eggs, it has hosts ready and waiting for its new brood, to go out and collect more hosts, and grow the hive.

The slow realisation of seeing the eggs and then thinking, wait, eggs can only be produced by a queen xeno🤔😧 is just such great storytelling for people who know a bit about the alien lore

I'm afraid thats not the alien queen making those noises. It's just multiple aliens screeching to give you the effect that your surrounded by loads of them. BUT if you go to the Gemini exoplanet in mission 12 you hear the Queen screeching there.
