We got it the first time you didn’t have to say ‘they slept in different bedrooms’ like 10 times

THIS is why she lived so long - peaceful nights. No snoring to wake her (or him).

Alot of couples do this due to sleep/work schedules, snoring, sleep fighting, blanket hogging, light sleepers, tempreture and humidity preferences, and just so each can have their own space. 😅 Its perfectly normal for the couples who can afford it, and you can still enjoy "sleepovers."

The only reason its not as common for the working class is not everyone can afford that extra bedroom.

Laying here next to a sleeping and loudly snoring husband right now and I have to say, that the time I slept in our extra bedroom when I was severely sick, I got the best sleep I’m had in years lol.
Also please remember folks, when you have a queen sized bed your supposed to buy KING SIZED BLANKETS. It helps prevent blanket hogging. ; )

“Wanna know why they slept in different beds? Because they slept in different beds and we should respect their privacy”

I like that he says at the end that it's a personal decision and we shouldn't question it. So why did he make this video??

It's great having separate rooms. It's even better deciding which one is going to visit 😉

We are not Royal... but my parents had their own bed rooms and slept in different rooms for 40 years. They are best friends and married for 40 years... I also have different room with my husband. It's just natural for us to do so...
Sometimes privacy is needed. As both me and my husband are INTJ personalities and insomnia and very busy with work as we both are quite successful in our career... ., We only can recharge our energy in solitude. We have 6 bed rooms in our city penthouse and 12 bed rooms in our country home. There, I have a bedroom, a closet room and a private living room. My husband has his own bedroom and study room.
When our parents come to our home for vacation, we give them separate rooms too... but when we go visit them or travel, we shared room. Its short term so it's fine... but really I prefer my own room though. Can sleep better. We are very happy to find each other and have same value that respect our own private rest. I hate cringy sticky needy people. Broke up with my ex boyfriend because of that. LOL

My husband and I have been married for 13 years and have been sleeping in separate rooms for 10. He snored like a freight train, and was diagnosed with sleep apnea. He got a sleep machine, but because he is a mouth breather, air would escape and sounded just as loud. Sleeping apart saved my health and sanity.

Separate bedrooms were traditionally the norm. The only people who slept together were those who couldn't afford separate rooms.

Супруги, которые спят отдельно любят друг друга не меньше, чем те, кто спит вместе.Ночью все таки нужен комфорт, если рядом кто-то ворочается просыпаешься. В браке 47 лет

".. it is important to remember that the Queen personal life was often kept private and was a personal decision that should be respected"
Says the guy who made a video about it.

I honestly believe that if we all could afford to have separate bedrooms AND bathrooms, the divorce rates around the world would be a lot, lot smaller….

My hubby and I have been married nearly 60 years, and have had seperate bedrooms for over half the time. In the beginning it was for comfort after he broke his back. We decided we liked it for several reasons. We kind of liked the sneaking back and forth. There was a romantic element to it, and we started doing special things to entice each other. It became something to look forward too. There is nothing bad about it, it can atctually make it more enjoyable. We do not have a door shut between the rooms, because we are always willing and waiting. Try it, it may add so much fun for your time together. We both highly recommend it, and would never stop doing it for ourselves. We feel it has kept the romance in our long marriage.

We also started doing this. No upper class. Sleep deprivation causing so many symptoms including memory loss. Finally separate bedroom and getting back life. Both seems to be able to function throughout the day because of this. Not happy about the separation but that’s the only way to take care of us and our kids.

Sleeping in separate rooms is more common than people know. It could be because of snoring, moving around, different room temperature, or health reasons. For not talking about sleeping separate it can feel embarrassed because it's different. A benefit besides better sleeping is making romantic dates to get together. ❤❤

I see nothing wrong sleeping in separate bedrooms. Decorate it the way you like, get the whole closet, don't have to listen to snoring. Yep, that's the way to go & a whole bathroom of your own, cause if I am having my own room, I want my own bathroom too. Just saying!!

My grandparents slept in different beds, but in the same bedroom. And I’m Mexican.

Having seperate bedrooms or even houses is better than living in the same house and see each other's short comings all the time. It actually keeps the love fresh. If its up to me, I would live in seperate houses, and keep the relationship great, like going around forever.
