Living in the pacific NW and knowing we are extremely less defended than other major port areas, I still sleep great at night. A few years ago, there was a hijacked plane that took off out of seattle and within 15 minutes, they scrambled the F15 eagles from the national guard out of portland and had already been on the scene. Working across the river from where they take off, it was the loudest thing I've ever heard in my life as they went supersonic with unrestricted climb to get there asap. I have seen some documentaries about what happens in a scramble drill and it takes about 5-8 minutes just for the planes to takeoff and they covered 200 miles in minutes... The response time for our military is absolutely bonkers when the time arises... We really are proud to live in such a great country with our serviceman.

The Canadians would smoke the invaders. Canada is a great ally of the U.S. They wouldn't flip, so the invaders would have to take out the Canadian military. Canada is underestimated in their military might. They're quite capable warriors. Even if they couldn't resist the Russian or Chinese on their own, the U.S. would be there to back them up instantly.

One fact that gets left out of most of these documentaries is that the second largest "army" in the world is the "American gun owners". Statistics show that this group of shooters and hunters supposedly own around 80 Million weapons. I am a member of this group and I have over 20 guns. I am also a veteran and a hunter which means that I do now how to use them. Love your shows and thank you for your service. I love the UK.
