I served in the US Marine Corps for 12 years. We always looked forward to training with the British Royal Marines. Professional, skilled, and enjoyable to hang with. Semper Fi, brother!

I, myself, served on a 'boomer' (ballistic missile submarine), and I can testify to their readiness and their stealthiness. We exited Guam, and submerged. At about 250 to 300 feet below the surface, there is a temperature inversion that reflects surface sonar. That means the enemy 'fishing trawler' surface ships can no longer find us. This means that we can go ANYWHERE, and the enemy can no longer know where we are. When I served ( 40+ years ago) I was aboard the USS Nathan Hale (now retired and scrapped) which carried Polaris missiles. We had 16 missiles, and each had a {classified} number of individually targetable warheads. Current subs carry more missiles, and each have more warheads ... and we have more of them, than when I served. These are ACTIVE warships, not static "Minuteman" occasionally inspected installations. So, no matter who starts a nuclear war, WE WILL END IT! The most horrible part ... is that NO ONE wins a nuclear

As always, love your content, Ryan. We (the US) love you Brits. I view you as our brothers and sisters, despite our differences and the couple of little spats we had in 1776 and 1812. You know how families can be. We may be the wild, rebellious younger siblings, but we always have your back.

The US has silos all over the states. It’s considered to be almost impossible to find these unless you stumble on them. A lot of people hike trails and find abandoned buildings that house ICBM silos.

I'm a US Army vet and I disagree with getting rid of them because of deterrence. I point to recent events in Ukraine when they gave away their nuclear bombs and then Russia happened 🧐

I was on a boomer (Ballistic Missile Submarine) from 05-10. We drilled daily on “Battlestations Missile” as we called it. It was second nature to employ these weapons systems within minutes of the launch message being received. Probably as efficient and effective as any system on earth. Sure hope our countries leaders can keep us from using them, it would not end well for any of us.

Saw a stealth bomber in the clouds with my dad during one of my baseball games, only 2 people out of dozens that saw it just barely peak through the clouds. Was during a thunderstorm and one of the coolest things I have seen to this day.

I am a formerly active United States Marine and consider The British Royal Marines comrades worthy of respect, fear and admiration anyone who thinks otherwise does so at their own peril.

I'm a retired submarine sailor, and what I can safely say is the submarines don't know where other US subs are. Almost impossible to find, but harder to kill.

I served with the Royal Marines in Kajaki in 2010 during our RIP. They were good men and we had a ton of fun with them while they familiarized my unit with the local terrain and people

Can't forget our weekend warriors that are just as dedicated to protection of our freedom.. other countries may speak down on our arrogance, although I've seen plenty of foreigners praise the reasoning behind it. If you don't like Americans, it's because your not one.🇺🇲🦅I'm a native American, Cheyenne River Sioux, . And born on the fourth of July in 1985. It don't get much more patriotic ❤️😘

The number of weapons we don't know about is staggering. We'd have to dream to see the reality. Daring to dream is what got us this far.

Every time I start getting a little scared about the state of the world, I watch videos like this. It always works.

My father was a light bird stationed at NORAD in the 70s. As a child listening to him and his friends (even then), their ability to track anything flying worldwide was amazing. There were times when they went into "Lockdown", and didn't hear from him or see him for a day or two. He would come home and at times lock himself in his office with a bottle of Johnny Walker. Always wanted to ask him "How close were we to dying?". Never asked, and he never had to say. And that was 30+ years ago.
Years later, he opened up that the times he was most concerned was when they were tracking objects that could not be explained that just "appeared" flying faster than anything manmade. He (they) would be on the phone with the Russians asking "That's not ours, yours?" "No".

As he said, "Bluebook, hell. They have an entire library of shit they can't explain".

Yeah. Will raise the hair on your neck

Our troops do indeed do a fantastic job, and I for one appreciate them all, as I do you as well for your service, as essentially an extension of one another’s military, of all the nations throughout the history of the world, no two nations have ever had a greater chance at eternal peace than UK and USA, and I don’t see any scenario in my lifetime happening to change that, ride or die nations til the end!

Ryan, as a Marine I am sure that you are familiar with demolition blocks and other explosive types. A kiloton yield a nuclear weapon is equal to the explosive force of 1, 000 tons of TNT so a 370 kiloton warhead is roughly the same as 370, 000 tons of TNT . there are yields into the megaton capacity built which is almost unfathomable in destructive power. Love your channel. Much love and respect to our UK brothers in arms from a US disabled vet!!
