What legitimate reasons do the Houston Texans have to pass on taking Bryce Young?

Personally, I just think CJ Stroud is the way to go.

Bryce Young’s injury potential becomes too significant at the NFL level. If an NFL defensive lineman fell on Bryce Young the impact could break his bones.

Also, CJ is incredibly special. His talent is latterly underrated

There are no legitimate reasons to pass on Young.
But since they lost the first pick to the Bears, they will likely wind up with QB2, CJ “I can’t Michigan” Stroud. The guy is a typical Ohio State quarterback. Overhyped and undertalented.

I would love it if the Texans had the #1 over all pick and took a QB.. but NOT YOUNG.. or any other QB but Stroud.. Young 5'11" 190 soaking wet.. is tiny in the NFL.. I do not want Kyler Murry 2.0.. I want Stroud.. he has more then shown he is the best QB coming out of college this year.. bigger, stronger, faster, better arm, throws accurately at all levels of the field.. the knock I hear from others is, he sits in the pocket and does not always take off running.. and that is a bad thing? The guy who can see and throw in this draft is Stroud.. My thinking is this, you take Stroud if you have that #1 pick and if you have pick #2, you hope that Stroud is still on the board and you take Stroud.. then with pick #12 you take Quinton Johnston WR from TCU.. now you have given Stroud a legitimate WR for the X.. and next year, you are all in at going after and getting for Stroud Marvin Harrison.. and this is the same exact model that Cincy did with Burrow and Chase.. so lets not screw this up.. Stroud and Young I liken to Fields and Tua.. both are like Mirrored images of each other.. Tua and Young same mold, Fields and Stroud same mold.. today, between Fields and Tua, who do you take? Me? Fields all day long.. its really a no brainer.. But I do not trust the Texans to be smart and draft smartly.. and I pretty much feel I will once again be totally disappointed.. last year they had picks #3 and #13.. and they took Stingley and traded back and took Green, they could have taken Thibedeaux and Davis.. and fixed their DL.. but nope.. they screwed the pooch last year.. and on top of that, they took Metchie over Pickens.. my grade on Pickens was, if you as a Texan liked DeAndre Hopkins, you should be taking Pickens.. but nope, Pickens on the board and we take Metchie.. all these picks we blew last year.. the top picks we totally blew.. so I have zero confidence in the Texans making the best picks..
