I wonder if most people really know what whole grain is. In the comments of a couple videos I've watched on the topic, most people just mention bread and pasta. There was little to no mention of the different types of rice, oats, quinoa, ect. Shoot, I just learned what amaranth was

I feel like grain is pushed on us bc it’s pretty abundant. When I avoid them I’m thriving. My nutritionists doesn’t want me to cut it out just yet but I eat them sparingly. It’s bad enough grain is in every meal and we had it for breakfast everyday in the 90s.

One way to know if you're sensitive to gluten would be to give up grains for a few weeks and increase vegetables & some lower glyceimic fruits in your nutrition. Then make a comparison on how you feel and look. I just started this today. Hopefully it is sustainable long term

Your body still doesn’t require whole grains. It’s not a necessary part of your diet like people believe.

It's hard to believe refined grains wouldn't be inflammatory given how high they are in acrylamides. I'm guessing the observational studies you mention didn't find them inflammatory because background levels of inflammation in our society are already high.

I have multiple injuries and inflammation. I gave up both modern wheat (the stuff in all processed foods) and in 1 DAY I was pain-free. There's no problem with Spelt flour, rice, cous-cous, or any other grain ..but ditch that wheat. 😏

Nutrition Made Simple is also a researcher with a Phd doing similar videos. He's saying that it doesn't matter that much who is funding the research.

Everyone glazes over the glyphosate saturation as well. It continues into you thru this food/grain commodity and the water and soil its leached into.
