When you drive through downtown and ten cars have crashed into each other and you see them all standing around on their cells it all makes sense.

its not fair that the rates for driving 1000/miles a yr r same as for driving 20k/miles per yr. insurance industry lobbyists have scored another monopoly biz for corporate america. charge by the mile across the board to make it more fair

I am 26 years old and just started my reserve duty after coming off of active. I tried getting my family in GA under a group policy and the cost was more than an individual one. It makes no sense whatsoever and my CPA who works in insurance policies for corporate level basically laughed. He looked at the policy and determined that whatever algorithm they were using must have been made by a child.

It doesn't really make sense with the rise of teleworking. My miles per year went from around 12 to 15k, down to about 5k.

The real reason car insurance rates mysteriously rise is because the car insurance companies don't have to ask the state insurance commissioner anymore before raising rates! they are free to do what they like. the bill was passed years ago. it puzzles me as to why taxpayers aren't in an uproar🤷
