The curved hilt was never about being unpredictable. The curve made the blade more in-line with the forearm, making cuts and thrusts more accurate (at the cost of being slightly less structurally sound). Dooku’s signature Form II was designed to basically be fencing and the omni-directional nature of the lightsaber blade meant that unlike a fencing sabre, the curved lightsaber handle didn’t need to be held with the fingers at a delicate angle.

The Dooku design was 100% the optimal choice for lightsaber duelling and should have surged in popularity within the Jedi order following the emergence of Maul.

I know it's not your video and you just reposted it but the dude probably didn't even gave any sources as I know his videos. We all know that the old Jedi Order was determined to fall because of their dogmatic behavior and their fear of the dark side but at this point he's just trying to fish for some reason to hate even more on them. Instead he could've talked about the thousands of Jedi who wielded blue and green when we saw every color and type of lightsaber during the old/high republican era
