After reading thousands of employee survey comments and sitting in over a hundred focus groups, what I learned is managers don't have a clue what to do to keep their best people.

This is where the voice of employees come in. Many employees feel unimportant, unheard and devalued, and what I do is I take the voice of the employees and give it to leaders who can do something about it.

You don't have to keep on wondering why good employees leave - you just have to start listening to their voices.

Well said 👍 Im going 20 years same job. Owner died and its been rough 3 years. Son took over and No raise, no bonus and never a Thank you! This company brings steady abundance of money every month and I run it all. I had to mentally check out. 56 and planning early retirement in next 2 months. Tying up ends and will give a decent notice and be free 🤗🌸🤗🌸

After 4 months of accumulating garages i got flooded with 15 garages at ones. And i was alone my teammates baled on me. I stayed to finish my resposability. And they was:
go here, go there, hurry up, this needs done, go do half, go to the other one... they forget im working alone, im human, sometimes is really hot, i been sick. Next time i get a house ill decline and take a break and focus on another project i have. And to be honest i feel taken for granted.

Good employees leave their job because they get a better offer from another employer. Bad employees leave their jobs too. Not every employee perspective is legit or accurate. Often times employee perspectives are just plain crazy. Employment is constant compromise and negotiation, best to always have a lateral or upward escape plan at the ready.
