Yes! This is spot on! I started hiring my own employees this year and I'm constantly checking in with them and I make sure they are challenged. My assistant has turned out to be amazing and when I asked her what was working she said that I value her and trust her.

I love the way you put it. "leaders you work for them" a true leader is there to take care of those following his leed. Not to take advantage of this under is rule. Great video. Im subscribing. 👍

I don't get appreciated; I work for New York City Dept of Health and Mental Hygiene and this division is horrible at leading. Employees are stuck there for 20 years just waiting for a paycheck and retire. I tried very hard but they just don't care. I am moving forward.

I have to say I most strongly relate to point no.1...I recall working for a boss/leader who thought absolutely nothing of scheduling a meeting with me and the second their phone rang during the "meeting" they'd hop on the phone and have a full-blown conversation with them!... I actually remember one meeting where a marketing company rang up looking for feedback and my boss spent 15 minutes on the phone while I sat there awkwardly listening to the conversation!...this very same boss would think nothing of telling me how busy or stressed they were and that was before the meeting would even begin!!!...needless to say I left that job after a year or two and my boss still can't figure out why!...

The last pointer spot on. My boss wonders why I don’t go to him. That’s because I’m a technical person and he sees everything as a relationship issue. But even if I get along with everyone, it doesn’t fix the technical problems. He also delegates everything back to me. I’m sick of asking “what could I do differently” when it’s the other person who messed up

I kept on addressing my basic rights/respect issues to my seniors and non of my problem was being solved. I started job hunt for a job and got a new job after alot of hurdles and gave my resignation letter.

1 and not being their or listening to a thing I say then bring false motivation praise it kind of hard when they are trying to change you in to something your not. It Makes most people like me don’t feel appreciated or value it only refer I am looking for a. new job I am having difficulty with assistant general manager.
