This has led many to start prepping for emergencies and natural disasters. In this video, I outline the 5 stage new preppers should follow when building up their shelter in place kits.

I would strongly recommend starting with emergency savings. Before you start buying things to make you survive through a storm that comes once every 5 or 500 years save 6 months of expenses plus any deductibles that you might need to cover health or home destruction. That money could come in handy when you're doing last minute preps for the impending storm. That way you haven't prepared for a hurricane when you end up with fire in your kitchen or getting laid off.

I started prepping when my husband died because I was not very good at gardening like he did. So i prepared with manly food. Then were i work my hours were cut in half and i could not buy groceries for about two months. So then I kind of forgot about it and then i think we had a snow storm and didn't have more than a weeks worth of food so i hoped it would not last long. It didn't but that got me thinking and when i had extra money and it kept going like that and still is but i have some extra

🍁🍂🍃🤗 Oh finally an emergency prepping channel. We should be prepared before ANY disaster's happen. Which can be at ANYTIME of our lives. We agree having food, water, medications, money in small dominations, batteries/candles, blankets, clothing, etc. When we started to make our emergency kit, we realized it takes time to put together. Where do you suggest storing emergency supplies in a home in an earthquake area? I have water in every room of my home. Food in quite a few rooms, flashlights in house and garage. I have no idea what is going to be damaged in the event of an earthquake. what part of my house will I be able to access? It is a guessing game.

I've just baught a 5000 watt generator to get atleast a week extra depending on how much gas I got saved back atleaat gonna save 5-10 gallons

Really has been a tough year, we went through our worst fire season on record in Australia at the start of the year and we are already seeing fires starting here now (it’s pretty much winter...). Koalas are basically going extinct. More people need to be prepared to look after themselves, their families and the local wildlife.
