Who would be your ideal casting for Celeborn? 😁

One of the underated characters from the legendarium, badass in both wisdom and warrior skills, I would love to see on screen him and Thranduil fighting together during the War in the North
Great video!

A great character, but I can understand why movies overlook him compared to other characters, unfortunately.
Just as gil galad part in lotr was cut.

Amazon will have one hell of a explanation why Celeborn is absent on both seasons in their show.

Thanks for this! He truly has such an awesome story. But he ain't gonna show up in RoP (or rather I doubt it!). I just don't see how or where they would introduce him? It seems like they want to continue with Galadriel as this independent elf... Maybe Celeborn is the one who set up Lothlorien? And he's confused, cos he's been waiting there for a few years and still there's no news from Galadriel... If only he knew about Halbrand.... :)

I thought the actor that played him in LOTR. He needed more lines though, he only spoke about losing Gandalf, it must be the blonde hair, all of the elves are pretty impressive.😘

Wait, so Celeborn was not dead as RoP wants us to believe?

Wasn't Galadriel told she could not return to the West until her heart changed. The unforeseen test of the Ring.

I always found Celeborn one of the more puzzling of Tolkien's characters. From bits and pieces in texts other than LOTR, it seems he spent some serious time separated from Galadriel. Maybe he did feel a bit overshadowed. Seems unlikely that his dislike of Dwarves would separate him from wife, and daughter too. Also strange he's not mentioned as part of The Last Alliance. But I find it even more curious that he would wish to carve out half of Mirkwood and annex it to Lothlorien. The guy would be something like 10, 000 yrs. old by then, wouldn't he? And that Galadriel would sail off into the west without him? But she was born in the undying lands, he wasn't. And I even wonder if what happened to his daughter factored into his decision to remain behind. I didn't watch ROP beyond the 3rd episode, first season, to suggest casting of this character, but I can't offer any better than Martin C. from LOTR. That's a role requiring a lot of gravitas, and not too many young actors can pull that off.

Celeborn after seeing the RoP scripts: "Imma head out now."

Celeborn was probably just off on a quest to find something to destroy the Rings of Power....

We all need a modern day Harlan Ellison to set HBO and Amazon straight…

Next you’ll tell me Celeborn and Galadriel had a child together.

Looking for the real Galadriel, who would Never call her beloved husband a Silver Clown.

My final conclusion about all the rings of p haters: I find it really strange how they seize upon the smallest most trivial detail and make out that it's the worst calamity in the entire universe. The entire 2 series condemned over the tiniest and most insignificant details, like elrond giving Galadriel a kiss - rolls eyes at broken sword. Rings of P is a wonderful, highly enjoyable series. For those of you not liking it, how much are you being paid for your hateful comments lol? Just joking. But I do find it odd peter Jackson, who basically s**ts all over Tolkien, can get away with his crap movies and Amazon, who I don't like because they didn't deliver some books I ordered, can't get away with it. And I'm guessing none of your nasty comments about Rings of P matter here because out in the real world it's extremely popular and most viewers love it. I also notice that even though so many people claim to hate it, they're still sitting through every episode, including series 2 so that they can comment on just how bad it is. I have no wish to subject myself to any more of peter Jacksons boring fight scenes masquerading as movies or equally boring series 2 house of the dragon which was basically like some badly written period drama. The dragons hardly came into it. So where is all this hate against the masterpiece which is rings of power coming from and why? Who knows, but I'm moving on.
