Want to add a second line to your Galaxy S23 Ultra? I decided to try it and I love how it works. Now you can receive calls and text messages and use data from two lines on your S23 Ultra.

I wish Dual physical SIM was an option.
I enjoyed seeing the SMS and dialer visually.
I wish you would have showed, discused, and or showed what it's like texting while on a call or getting a call on one line while on the other, and how is visual voicemail treated for both lines

Thanks for that. So when next I travel outside Australia I'll probably want a second sim because Vodafone coverage and service is not the best, would I be right in thinking a Google e-sim is the way to go? I really want less Google in my life 😖

Can you set up two different messaging apps for the two SIM cards to keep the messages separate from each other?

Thanks, best description of dual sim I've seen so far! They are of course pushing 24 now, do you know if the 24 ultra also performs well with dual sim in the US? Or should i look for last years model?

Does visual voicemail work for both lines?

My primary carrier is Sim1 = Physical Sim.
Reason for that is simple, if device breaks I can place physical sim in my backup device.

Very nice video! Can you tell us what Item model number you have? I am assuming you have the international model, I’m not sure if that’s what you have, but it will help to make sure that phone will works with the 2 radio networks used by wireless carriers. GSM, CDMA

Hi! Nice and clear tutorial, goot job!
At 5:16 you got "Mobile Networks" page with enabling "allow secondary SIM to use data durring voice calls". I got 2 physical simcards, and i don't have this option i my menu. Any advice? Greetings!

Thanks, dual sim (physical and esim) is working on my phone (samsung s24+).

Physical sim is primary, I turned on the option to use 2nd sim data if primary is not available. I set data use limit to 0.7 G on primary. I have both Sims as ON. Next, go to Contact, in the hamburger thingy, make the original sim as the one to use with calls.

I've used over 0.7 G this cycle, so the phone stops using primary for data. Right now, I get phone and text on primary, and data on secondary.

If you use a work SIM, what can their IT see on my personal phone?

If you use an app that forces you to allow access to your contacts, can you differentiate which contacts are used for each specific line?

Question:
I used e-sim as primary sim. But I want to use mobile data on secondary sim . How can I switch mobile data!

Got a question. I have put my phone on flight mode as I am overseas and didn't want to be charged from my provider. ( provider charges nearly $10/- per day) I use only WiFi calls.
If I activate my local sim to be used for the country I'm visiting, which one is best ? Physical sim or e-sim ?
TIA.

The U/U1 variants of the Galaxy S23 phones are now US only in terms of SIM card support. If you plan to use a SIM card from another country, you'll need another device to cover it (unless you have an eSIM from Germany or Sweden in which you can keep your current device).
