Sadly that Apple doesn’t make that point clearer. Until today the webside shows a physical double SIM. Just purchased a 13 pro max because of that and must have learned that it is this mix of physical/eSIM. Which disappoints ne extremely!

I didn't like the video because you don't tell how the dual sim cards work. Please post a video about the details of using dual sim.

It is different from US Version. US version support e-sim and extra (5G MM Vave) and HK version support dual physical sim and all functions like 5G but not (mm vave), FaceTime video/audio and wifi calling all are working. In chinese version it also support dual physical sim but not support wifi calling and FaceTime audio call.I always prefer HK version because it is factory unlocked and supports two physical sims. One of best version

e sim is a disaster specially when you have to reset your phone because there is some apple issue. Imagine this happening when you are on vacation. This whole forcing esim is really a bad idea

🤬 upgraded from Galaxy S6 to iPhone 13 Pro max, rather than the Galaxy S21 ultra because of the better overall camera... totally new to eSIM, thought it took dual SIM for use on holiday, just pop into the local store get a SIM, drop it in and good to go... well annoying to find out it wasn't ... 😡 Well annoyed, pity you can't just replace the SIM tray with a dual SIM

Physical and e sim is useless for travel because you can't make a personal hotspot from an e sim. So I still have to swap sim cards all the time to use data and be in touch with home. Totally shit.
