Sim cards really got smaller and smaller until they disappeared

I don't know what is it about people wanting to go ALL digital, ALL electric, ALL "eco friendly". I think that in reality what you are doing is giving away your right to choose, your right to have control, and I think people don't realize that. They all think that what's new is always "cool".

Does someone knows what happens when changing carrier?? Because I have a carrier with an esim and I am changing to another carrier with esim also...does the new carrier has to send me a new QR code for register on my phone or it changes the carrier automatically??

Wow, that e-sim site actually still kinda seems expensive af relative to what you'd pay in the local countries, even at the airport. Would a better option not be to have your main sim as an E-sim & then put in a physical local sim when needed?

eSIM makes it a lot easier for carriers to track what phone you are using. With sim you can just pop it into any phone. Overall, for customers there are some pros with lifestyle upgrades and some cons. Aka. with physical sim you can more easily have multiple profiles and it's easier to switch network. But there's also the con, it's harder to switch between devices. Overall, there's definitely some improvement in convenience, but also demerits.
But most importantly, this presents huge opportunity for third parties to track you more effectively. Reducing your privacy.

I had two dual sim cards and wanted to switch them both to eSim. Now I can only enable one of the two :(
Goes against the whole point if I have one physical SIM and one eSIM

If I have unlimited network from 3 and I buy an eSim card from Vodafone which I need when I go to Turkey, if I finish the 25GB from Vodafone, can I use data from 3 without extra cost?

I think for a short term solution its a great idea but definitely not long term. Security issues everywhere as with any personal ID token, and inevitably will get breached or compromised. The longer you have it out there in the big bad world, and sign up or authenticate with it, the more access points there are to exploit. Hell even 2FA is breachable now if you know what you are doing. Exact same reasoning why you never put an EFTPOS terminal on a Wi-Fi network

Do not like the idea of not being able to change SIM cards. Way too easy for your data to be collected and tracked.
