Hello! I’m a bassist. I’ve been playing for 3-4 years now, and it’s amazing to see other people who share the same hobby. It’s not a super popular instrument, so bassists tend to be scarce. When I auditioned for Region 32 in middle school, I had so much fun playing with the other basses. For quite a while, I was the only kid who played bass at our school, so I really didn’t get to socialize much. Meeting another bassist is like meeting people just like you, who have the same passion, and it’s truly magical. I strongly advise new bassists to join a group! It has helped so much.

Posture is so important. Imagine a 90minute gig. You'll want to have the proper feel and posture to help you thru.
