Josh,  like many garrulous lunkheads before him,  confuses claiming truth with truth. Anyone can claim to hold the truth, many do, and many hold contradictory "truths." As a matter of fact, contradictory truth claims are one of the greatest sources of human conflict and misery.

I think the most frustrating part about Fat Fred Durst here (besides his mannerisms and recycled arguments) is the idea that so many people actually think this way. The "you have to prove that my mystical experience _isn't_ God" argument is nearly impossible to overcome...because they don't _want_ to be convinced otherwise.

once again. My hero Finlarg does what he does best. Calm collected and so full of knowledge. I watch a lot of atheist youtube channels and you are always a breath of fresh air. You make great points, you never yell, and still are able to make these people look like complete morons (not hard in some cases) My only wish would be to have more videos. Thankful that you are healthy again and I keep looking forward to new videos

For me Disneyland IS hell. I was 9, it was hotter than hell! There was NO water. Most of the rides weren't working. The littler kids were sticking to the pavement & their parents had to pull them out of the melted pavement & carry them around, while trying to free their feet. We took the jungle ride, when the hippo came up & threatened the boat, I said, "Just kill us. Anything is better than this." When Micky ran up to me & said "Welcome to Disneyland." The B O, & bad breath just about knocked you dead. I think they ate a ton of garlic.
My cousin, last year, took her daughter to Disneyland. She said it was so HOT she wondered how the characters survived the costumes.

By the way, there's no way I'd feel god. I mean, you don't know where he's been, do you? Ugh. Besides, personal space much?

I talked to god ONCE. I said, my horse couldn't be part of his fucking plan so save his life & I'll believe. He didn't do fuck for poor Shawny. I had to put him down the next day.

Not Josh nor any other christian has ever given me a good answer about what i consider one of the major flaws in his description of God. In this video, once again, he mentions "God's love", and that's where i start having my problems with it...
It's impossible for me to "love someone" and, at the same time, feel joy in being superior to that person. Love and desire of dominance are not compatible feelings, therefore impossible to be directed towards the same person in the same context. This is not just my opinion, it's the very definition of the words in question. And the reason is that Love is, first of all, based on equality. You don't trully love those you don't treat as equals.
A celestial being that wants to love us, but at the same time will punish us if we don't worship Him, is not after love... He's after dominance upon us. That has nothing to do with love.
