I have run to issues where HP laptops cannot be reset unless, at the last step you demonstrated, you provide a reset code from Microsoft. The code is optained by logging onto a registered micodsoft account. I suppose you've never heard of that?

When trying this I cant even go past the F11 key as it just turns on how it normally turns on...Any idea why?

My hard drive died and this doesn't work for me what do you do when you don't have the image on a different partition to restore from?

In April I bought what I thought was a new HP laptop it is a 2022 at the Walmart store. Less than a month. I was using the laptop when it it shut down because of a problem and said it would restart.
