How To Factory Reset Your Android Phone

In this video I'm showing you how to factory reset your Android phone and delete all your personal data. The phone I'm using is the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G.

A factory reset of your Android phone is something that you should definitely do if you are selling your phone or giving it away as a present to someone else.

When you factory reset any Android phone, Android tablet or any Android device you are deleting all the files and data on that device. This means that any personal files such as pictures, videos, music etc. will also be deleted. So make sure that you have backed off and saved any personal files and data to an external storage device or to the Cloud before you factory reset any Android device.

The factory reset will also delete your Google account from the Android phone you are reseting or Android tablet or any other Android device. Any other account login information, for instance TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp etc. Will also be deleted. Do not worry, these logins and their accounts will only be getting deleted from the Android phone or Android tablet or any other Android device that you are factory resetting. All of these accounts and logins will still exist on any of your other Android devices and your Google account will always exist in the Google cloud until you delete it from there.

The factory reset will also delete all the apps on your Android phone or Android tablet or any other Android device. Again, don't worry, these apps are not deleted from any other Android device that you may have and can be re-downloaded and re-installed on a new Android phone.

Good video but It was different for my Motorola phone. The fastest way on my Moto One 5G Ace is to type factory reset into the search settings bar and it will take you straight to Erase all data factory reset.

The longer way is: It's open settings, open system, select advanced, select reset options, then select erase all data (factory reset)
