Fantastic video! I got my 2015 toyota camry le last April and this video made it super easy to do my oil change. My first experience with a canister type oil filter. I run Royal Purple 0w20 and the Royal Purple oil filter. Probably unnecessary but I like using the finest ingredients haha.

Some viewers may benefit from torque specs...

Oil filter cap* torque: 25 (±5) N•m/18 (±3.5) ft lbs
Oil filter drain plug torque: 12.5 N•m/9 ft lbs

*The oil filter cap is what has been referred to in this video as a canister. Most sources call it an oil filter cap or oil filter cap assembly or oil filter housing cap. But it is often called a canister. However, spin-on filters are also called canister oil filters, so it can be confusing. A spin-on oil filter features a steel canister paired with a paper element. A spin-on filter is never called a cartridge filter.

Don’t forget to check oil level via dipstick when you’re done. Oil drainage is never precise.

92 Camry had oil filter right at top of engine... not under car, no special tools, no extra procedures. The world is going crazy.
