ramen + rice cakes [ using rice paper! ] ~

Here’s an idea to add to your next bowl of ramen - all you need is rice paper! These rice cakes are soft and chewy, almost like the real thing.

Ottogi sesame is my absolute favorite ramen and I’ve posted it many times in the past. I cook it a little differently though.. First I boil it in water, but I take it off the heat early since the noodles will cook again later on in the milk. I prefer my noodles to be firm, not soggy. So drain the noodles and add milk to a pot along with the rice cakes, seasoning packets and a spoonful of peanut butter. This makes it extra creamy and sorta makes it taste like thai curry. Add back your noodles and it’s done :)

y’all acting like you never had thai food or any asian food with peanuts lmaoooo it’s not that uncommon 😂😂😂 i add peanut butte to lots of sauces i make cuz it’s easier than peanuts
edit: apparently y’all don’t understand that peanut sauce or straight peanuts is essentially the same thing as adding peanut butter in sauces or soups. It adds almost the same peanut flavor.🤦🏻‍♀️

Oh and if you don't have that sesame noodles, you can use shin ramen add milk and peanut butter. Buuuutt if you don't have peanut butter, use salad dressing with roasted sesame flavor (you won't need milk if you add this). It's delicious and smoky! In my country kewpie has salad dressing with roasted sesame flavor, my advice use kewpie brand.

I never added peanut butter but milk, cream or even yogurt is nice ! I use it when it’s too spicy for my family
