the fact that nowdays midrange gpus cost 500$ is insane, not to mention the 4070 ti s which costs 800$ and is STILL considered midrange

It all depends on your budget, the 6700xt or 6750xt are way cheaper than any GPUs mentioned here.

remember, these 1440p gpus are for the intense ultra settings for games, you can use way more cheaper cards on 1440p by using medium settings

Did my guy just say that 7800xt is a budget gpu

A 6700xt to around a 7700xt is actually more realistic for bottom of the barrel.

I went with the 7900 GRE. Great for the price

Rx 6800/6800 xt are both insanely underrated

From AMD the 7900 GRE and from Nvidia the 4070 Super, hands down🔥

Technically speaking, the best 1080p, 1440p and 4k gpu is the 5090

7700xt or even the 6750xt are great entry cards for 1440p, infact I use the 6750xt for my 1440p ultrawide monitor at home and play most games at medium to high(with rt off of course), that being said I do agree 7900gre should be the best 1440p card on the market before it'd be considered a 4k gpu, that's why in the system I'm building today has a 7900gre hellhound

Dont just consider the base price of GPU only, consider Electricity costs as well. Most of these GPU's consume above or near 300 Watts of power per hour.

The 7800xt can't be found for less than $600 now

6800 is a budget 1440p card. I can run any game on that on a AM4 platform. So im sure the beast would perform even better with the help of ddr5 ram and a 7600x.

Advice, ignore the 4070ti super. In most regions it's a fair bit more expensive than the regular 4070 super for only slightly more performance and 4gb more vram. Unless you're playing a super vram intensive game, the fps difference is usually about 7 or so frames which really isn't worth an extra 200 dollars. The ti super does have a 2nd encoder yes, but chances are you really don't need that unless you're doing very high-quality content creation but even then the regular 4070 super is more than good enough for that. Unless the ti super has a significant price drop to make it more similar the non ti version, don't bother buying it 👍

It is for sure the 4070 super tho. The TIS has about a 12% performance uplift for over 200 dollars more. That’s insanity.

The prices are straight up robbery, these prices used to be on the x90 / xx90 cards

4070 super is an awesome 1440p card as well. Getting a 3090 with all the modern features and lower power consumption but unfortunately half the VRAM. But despite that, this thing is an absolute beast of a card

Agreed with the 1st pick. I have a 7800xt finally and WOW what a difference from a 3070. :)
