[new folder with selected items] one of the best features I use every day on the Mac (Windows doesn't have this) - simple but immensely useful. Also you can just CMD+Z if you make an error.

You can also create a folder using the action menu on top of the Folder window. That is how I have been creating them so far. I think I will start using the keyboard shortcut going forward. Great tips about using the iCloud to make the files portable and also creating a folder with a set of existing files. Thanks.

Gary, this was mostly review for me. I rename my folders often and it is so easy to do. 
Question for you: Is there a video you created regarding VPN? Mostly concerning using a laptop in public- i.e., airport, hotel, public places, etc.

Tip: I added 'New Folder' shortcut on my finder toolbar with right click on the Finder window toolbar, select Customize Toolbar, and drag 'New Folder' to the finder toolbar

I was once told by a senior Apple tech support person (I'm not sure of the exact wording) that creating nested folders that are more than two levels deep was not supported. This was during a troubleshooting session where some things got lost during a migration and were missing from iCloud drive. Have you run across this? I still have folders 5-6 levels deep, though now I seek to keep the hierarchy thinner.

Do you know a way to quickly rename folders? For example I often have to sort 100s of images from a photoshoot into a group of 30-40 folders. I normally create about 10 new folders, then use copy/paste to duplicate those 10 three or four times to get my 30-40 folders. But here's my sticking point. I would love to quickly rename those folders 1-40 real quick instead of having to click on each folder one at a time and renaming them. I wish I could SELECT ALL and rename numberically in one to two clicks. Any ideas??

To this day the worst thing they did was change cmd-n to cmd-shift-n. Maybe I just don't have that many fingers.
