In this video, I show you how to make a folder on your Android home screen. The first method I show is the way you do it on Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 and up, and the second method is for phones using version 2.3 and before.

I was looking for a way to make conventional Folders for different Web Pages for my Home Screen (s) on my Android (1st) Phone, just as you would on a normal Computer/Laptop. etc. Your method seems to work perfectly & really unclutters my Home Screens nicely. Therefore, I would like to mention this tutorial will also work for Web Pages in addition to "Apps" as described above. Great Job Lad - you have made this Smart Phone Newby's day ! Thanks very much.
