Ironically, the Steve Jobs bio by Walter Isaacson sold me on Apple. Bought my first one in 2011...now I own about three generations of ecosystems. I still use PC/windows/android for work, which never ceases to annoy me. For me, it’s the seamless experience and the fact that I’ve NEVER had a virus.

Great video and I agree with you on how Apple doesn’t necessarily “suck” you in but little by little, “bait” you in to the ecosystem. I used to be all in for Microsoft. I bought everything including their fitness band and windows phone. All of their devices, past and present, only half deliver on qualify and functionality. Then I bought a iPod with video capability, then an iPhone, and it’s just been a constant growth from there. Now I’m all in and my house is basically an Apple store but I couldn’t be happier with how everything works together.

Absolutely. I just saw a YouTuber dedicate a whole video about Tim Cook’s failure as a CEO and innovator. The hate has made some people not only stupid but downright delusional. As a brand Apple has grown exponentially under Cook, products he introduced like the watch and AirPods dominate their competitors. Almost every product line is a success and even services bring substantial profit. Apple keeps customers because they basically give their CUSTOMERS what they want. For example, 96% of iOS users have chosen to not track! That’s knowing your customers.

I recently saw Samsung releasing a new laptop they worked with Microsoft on that helps bring the seamless integration between mobile devices and the laptop. I hope they are successful with it because it really is the best experience for the user. I’m still planning on sticking with Apple but I’m happy other companies are seeing the value of integration and making progress. Windows/Android users deserve a seamless experience too.

You made some reasonable points, however the budget, mid and High end products different with every device
For a laptop the M1 macbook air are unbeatable but then 500 dollars for a pair of headphones isn't in the same category.

I really simply appreciate your videos. They are professional quality, quick, informative, fun and definitely engaging. I also like the fact that you don't hide what your real life preferences are while talking about the hardware/software you really use - which only lends real consumer experience into the mix. A refurbished m1 mac mini does cost 600$, but brand new m1 mac mini cost up to 900$ compare that to a brand new 600$ PC, it can stream, game, edit and work at the same time. With double the memory 2x8gb with 6 cores (lower than the m1) but with faster clock speeds than the m1.

You are absolutely right Gary, Apple gets me, I start with iPad 2020 just for mobile gaming at january and now, I have M1 Macbook Air, M1 Mac Mini, iPhone 11 and ordered 12.9" iPad pro :)

i have macbook pro with intel. want to buy macbook with M1, but M1 in macbook doesnt support two external monitors. or should wait till nov 2021. Please advise
