I want to keep an eye on the developments of QEMU/KVM; Boxes and VMWare, so I run those hypervisors inside Ubuntu's Virtualbox guest. Nested virtualization works, but it is slow on my Ryzen 3 2200G, the 2nd slowest Ryzen ever. The last 2 years I did not really look at it, just make sure it still worked. After I replace the 2200G by a 5600G I should take another more detailed look at it.
In the modern society with greedy capitalists you need a tested backup solution, also for your hypervisor.
