the award is for "Britt Orchardson".
It all makes sense now - when Fred was looking for her "lost daughter", it was her "travelling the world"

Disappointed _"The Denial of Agency for Profit"_ yielded no results when searched for.

Imposter syndrome: I was hired for a 6 month contract, I examined what they needed and solved the problem with 40 lines of code in 20 minutes and all I could think was "I'm trying to give you your money's worth, here!"

Here’s the trick for people who suffer from social anxiety like in this video. I’ve done this and it works almost to well. Keep the conversation focused on everyone else but you. Actively try not to talk about yourself but focus on being interested in others conversation to you. Be prepared to answer questions about yourself but go back to them. The results are shocking. They’ll believe you’re the greatest person ever and love you but you haven’t said anything. As someone who suffers from debilitating shyness this has helped me more than anything.

The self-esteem problem... even if you find the thing which cure all cancers, you still haven't done enough. Meanwhile the guy who cooks only once a week finds he is a hardworker on it

The small detail of adhd Ellie saying "ohhh my phone's about to die" resonated deep within me. Everytime I have to be somewhere, I look at my battery and it's never above 30%. And i've got a whole day ahead of me

The thing with self esteem is you make it bigger than it is. If you can just get past the first step of confronting the
"why" you are feeling anxious, it gets easier. It is that first step that is hardest. I was happy to see that Brit didn't just stay home, which could have been the easiest path. Instead, she went to the reunion. Love all the details you put into it, and how it ended was cute. "Nice shoes" lol.

Who likes to go to a reunion anyway? They are so awkward and scary!😅

Oh my gosh this new ADHD series hits so hard. The writers really nail the condescending comments 😅

As a 2010 graduate, COVID saved my ass from the whole reunion. It was the one positive takeaway. I didn't have to pretend to want to go, or make an excuse not to.... It was beautiful.

Britt Orchardson? She's Fred the Fruit Merchant's long lost daughter? Crossover or Easter egg?

I faced that same dilemma every class reunion. Well, I mean I faced that dilemma once, the first time, and went with the "It's too stressful, so I could just not go" solution. Having done that and realized it works fantastically, I've repeated it for every reunion since (and for most social situations, period). I've got 40 coming up next summer, and I already know I'm not going. Having made that decision frees me from all of the stress involved.

I am very much on the side of not going to social engagements unless it's something you think you'll enjoy. Why make myself miserable being nervous in the time leading up to the occasion? Even if I did enjoy the hour or two of the occasion itself, would that be worth the cost of all those days or weeks of worry? No, it would not, not for me. Examine social engagements from a cost-benefit perspective and it's easy to see that stressing out over them simply isn't worth it.

Huh. This is pretty much how it went in my head when my reunion rolled around. Only I actually didn't have any achievements or anything to be proud of. So instead of going I just dropped my friend who needed a ride off and instructed him that if anyone asks about me to tell them I'm dead. I'm certain no one asked about me though.
