Please do continue these mental health focused vids, you've got a real knack for getting to the root of stuff I've struggled with for years.

This channel makes me feel a little less neurotic and alone with each video. Thank you for that ❤️

"You can have a good time in your head. It doesn't have to be hell." Something I didn't even know I badly needed to hear. This is only the third video of yours I've watched but you're already teaching me more healthy coping mechanisms than I learned in 3 years of therapy in my teens.

Seriously, you explain things better than some therapists and professors I’ve had. This kind of advice only comes from someone who’s genuinely “been there.”

Gotta say that diamonds/shit metaphor is pure gold...

Sometimes even after a long time making mainly diamonds the Shit and Diamonds machine WILL spit out a bucket of shit. DON'T give up at this point, just move past it and keep going.

“It doesn’t have to be hell” really hit me hard! These types of videos are so important because your art can’t grow without you.

I stumbled on your channel a few weeks ago and I love them. The fact that you're not trying to be some sort of all knowing self help whatever is really nice. It's just one human trying to help other flawed humans grow. Much love

It's really frustrating when you can only like a video once. Like, there's no benefit yo liking then unliking and then liking again. We need a 'super like' button.

I’m on “how to fix imposter syndrome” YouTube binge right now, and yours is one of my favorite so far. I think we forget (because we’ve never been taught, unless by a therapist) that we can exercise our brains like our bodies by forcing them to new pathways. Love from Oregon, ZC

I am a teacher. I know I am a good teacher: I am dedicated, efficient, and truly care about my students. However, when a parent tells me any of this, I have the same reaction; that I have tricked them into believing I am a good teacher. I first discovered the term imposter syndrome a few years ago, and it is quite hard to live with. I have no idea who you are, or why this suddenly showed up in my feed, but this was amazing. I’ve been “healing myself” for a few years, but I have never heard something so simple, yet amazingly powerful. Thank you, whoever you are 😅

I've been vaguely aware of the concept of creating new pathways in the brain for some time, but that metaphor was really effective. I actually think you could produce a really engaging mental health series for kids / teenagers. Love the content <3

I'm South African and I've been following you for a couple months. Initially found you while searching for art videos, but I really enjoy the diversity of your content. I'm a lifelong quadriplegic (I have cerebral palsy) and because I'm goal-oriented and stubborn, people tend to call me inspirational. I cringe inwardly every time, because my imposter syndrome is like, "You've fooled all these people and you don't deserve their praise."

So yeah, this was a very relatable video. Keep 'em coming.

I never understood imposter syndrome until today. I cried because I feel like I don’t deserve my current job and soon they’ll find out I really can’t do graphic design and print jobs. The evident success exercise is a really good idea because it forces me to think about what I can do, what my strengths are, and how I can use that to my advantage. I’ll be sure to do this often, and it’ll probably even help me sleep better at night.

Every time you post a vid I feel like I've just spoken with a good friend. Your vulnerability is really something special.

You have changed my life,

We've been on a relatively similar trajectory. I was only on around 10K Subs this time last year, and have also had somewhat of a glow up. I've been watching your videos for quite some time now and will always drop what I'm doing when you post. Your work is more often than not a highlight of my week.
I don't want to give too much credit to you though and trigger your imposter syndrome, I just feel like we've had some similar experiences in life and I often connect strongly with what you're saying.
You're a few steps ahead of me on many of life's paths, and so find your insight extremely valuable. Your videos and advice are like small window into my own future and I really appreciate you going through the effort of sharing your thoughts and experiences.

I just want to let you know I keep coming back to this video. I have actually been doing this exercise (both part 1 and part 2) everyday since December. The best part is looking through all the reasons from part 2 when you're dealing with impostor syndrome.

When we're dealing with negative emotions, it can consume all our focus and we tend to forget the good things that happened, even if it was just yesterday. Reminding yourself all the good you did previously really helps you feel a lot better about yourself.

I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS EXERCISE TO EVERYONE
