Is there a way to delete a record entirely, so that it also decrements the autonumber back to it's previous value and/or updates the autonumber on all records? Or is there a way to manually decrement this autonumber? I would like to be able to make mistakes when working in access and then still keep things neat and tidy when I correct those mistakes. My obsessive compulsive disorder simply can't handle seeing a giant hole in the autonumbering due to deleted record entries 😱😱😱 Is Access something that people with OCD should just avoid altogether?

Your Manufacturers table for example, it starts the autonumbering from 11, because you apparently initially made a mistake or changed you mind or something on your first 10 entries, and then you deleted them and made 10 new entries that now start from 11 😱😱😱 How can you be fine with looking at such a mess? Is there simply no way to correct this other than starting a new database from scratch and being diligent not to make any mistakes?
