Dear Deborah Ashby, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the incredible Microsoft Access Tutorial. Your explanations were clear and concise, and your voice was easy to follow, making it a pleasure to learn from your videos. As a beginner (been using Access for just over a year now - regret why I did not learn it sooner a decade, or two ago), I found your tutorials incredibly helpful in building my skills in Microsoft Access, and I was able to progress quickly to more advanced features. I am truly grateful for your dedication to creating such high-quality educational content. Once again, thank you for your hard work and commitment to helping others learn. Your contributions to the community are greatly appreciated

It is certainly the best Access course I had been exposed to in years. Deborah Ashby is very didactic, and her way of teaching is clear and follows the natural steps of learning. Deborah and Simon Sez IT, you are the best! Thank you very much.👍

The First hour and a half is very basic "Tips for using MS office" and has little to do specifically with Access.
From 1:30:00 to 3:40:00 is the introduction to Access up to creating your first link table/ relationship.
At 3:40:00 the class breaks off abruptly, just before beginning Forms, and we jump ahead to the "Advanced" portion of the class
When the class instruction picks up again at 3:47:00, we see that the forms have all been created for our exercise database. That whole section of the Beginner course, where we learned how to make forms, has been skipped.

Awesome tutorial. Deb is easy to understand, stays on track, and gave more than enough information for me to start a genealogy census records database linked to an ancestor DB and locality DB.

Many years ago I tryed to do some work with Access, did one database for my brothers wines, did it all from scratch just by trail and error but soon got it to work as I wanted. Then it all just stopped there, I found Excel and it was easier to use, not so advanced as Access, but not as nice to look at.
So, why not try it again and here I am, following your tutorial and enjoy every minute of it. Great work from all of you... Thumbs up from Sweden 🙂

tbl Tour Trip Type Table Tab Triptype, Data Type. I'm sure all this alliteration and duplicate word choices seemed like a good idea at the beginning...

The imports work fine in the exercises but if you change the lookup to "allow multiple values" in let's say the ActivityLevel field then you can no longer import any data into the table from excel or a text file... So what is a workaround to be able to import data into access with a table that has a lookup with "allow multiple values" enabled?
