Why Do We Remove Wisdom Teeth?

Have you ever wondered why you need to get your wisdom teeth taken out? This is how a dentist extracts them.

I had mine removed a few years ago. my surgeon was amazing. he numbed me with an IV and I was knocked out. he removed the 4 molars in like 15 minutes, give or take and he called in my mom to see me. I woke up like an hour and a half later. I spent more time asleep than he did removing the four. I didn't get wild like the people in videos when they come out from the dental office. I was just disoriented and was placed in a wheelchair to get me to our vehicle. it was surreal.

Took 4 of them out today and 2 were growing the wrong way. Survived, really is not a big deal guys =) Already had to remove 8 teeth in total xD

I had mine removed and honestly don't get the complaints. Sure it hurt... For three days. On the third, like magic, there was no pain. Very similar to braces and very endurable. It made it much more comfortable once it healed! My teeth were easily fixed and beautiful, and didn't bother me. Way worth it.

Yeah it is logical that we used it for different types of food. But also due to evolution we could have been forced away from it. The narrowing of the jaw may not have just been a physical trait of vanity that we evolved away from but could have been caused by the interbreeding of humanoid species such as the neanderthal which had a very different facial structure size then original "humans". Through years of interbreeding could have passed down traits to smaller foreheads and jaws in some. This is the main reason we have Huskier builds as well as lean builds. Also called ectormophs, endomorphs and mesomorphs.

I took my X-Ray thingy at 4 different dentists, and all of my outcomes were that I don't have any wisdom teeth; not even the molars. Lucky me I guess.
