Dentist’s License Suspended Over Fatal Wisdom Tooth Surgery

If ur here cause ur having wisdom teeth removal, stop watching this. This is not normal, they didn’t research this doctor enough before sending her here. Go to a oral surgeon who has an anesthesiologist on site. You should be fine.

I got 4 wisdom teeth removed on local anesthesia. Best decision ever. Didn’t feel anything, and was conscious for it. It lasted 10 minutes. One was impacted.

Oof. There is a "Sedation Certification" which is a $6, 000 class that allows a licensed assistant to do those things. You're not even supposed to touch the IV meds if you do not have the cert.

Parents just know that when this happens it is a direct result of the anesthesia being inappropriately used. It is absolutely important to talk to the oral surgeon specifically about who will be administering the anesthesia and what type of anesthesia would be used. This is such a senseless stuff.

If you do some research, you hear a lot of stories of people who die at the dentist from having too many teeth pulled at the same time. This is why you should probably never allow your Dentist to do too much work all at once.

with enough novacain u don't even need sedation.. it is best to avoid anesthesia whenever possible to prevent these kinds of tragedies

So I’m supposed to get all four out soon. They didn’t give me a choice in til I asked to get local . But when I said I didn’t want to go under and would prefer the shots, they changed my date to them pulled. I never heard not to get them pulled all at once

I had 5 wisdom teeth.i removed 2 of them. My dentist told me all of wisdom teeth never removed together.thank god my dentist such a good human.
