The example at 6:48 is an amazing demonstration of how habits always feel uncomfortable when you try to change them. Naturally I have my left thumb on top, and it feels like my palms are directly together, but when I put my right thumb on top, it feels like there is an uncomfortable amount of space between my palms but the separation is the same both times. It really shows what you mean by how changing habits is uncomfortable in such a simple, easy way that can be done practically anywhere. Nice work on choosing an example that really works with what you’re talking about. I’ve subscribed and turned on notifications as I can foresee your lessons being useful for me in my upcoming college years. I sense a strong passion for teaching coming from you and that clearly can be seen from the effort you put into making these videos in an effort to teach, not to gain popularity or money, but to teach.

I'm usually intimidated by these type of videos, but your videos are always so welcoming and thoughtful. I like that you're taking the time to clearly go through the info and have a concise review at the end to help us remember the main points. The explanations behind them make sense, too (like the demonstration on how new habits take time).

I tend to read the words out loud in my head whenever I read because I thought they would help me understand better (they didn't). After watching this video, I tried it out on a novel, and it was amazing how much faster I could read. Thanks!
