It’s no secret that Yu-Gi-Oh! is a complicated card game with confusing effects and rulings, but some cards are just weird. Today we’re going over cards with some of the most mechanically unique abilities, and a couple of them are so crazy they’re not even in Master Duel!

Convulsion of Nature actually has Sound effects in Master Duel files but isn't in the game.

I love how Convulsion of Nature specifies to continue with the current duel. As if you would resolve it and then go "Well... my deck's upside-down now. Looks like we have to start over." 😂

Shoutouts to convulsion of nature's spiciest include - you can play it in SPYRAL to always know what's on top of your opponent's deck lol

I remember losing my copy of Parasite Paracide when I was a kid when I accidentally left it in the opponent’s deck.

duel logs sounding a little different today

Parasite Paracide has a fun ruling, specifically with Convulsions of Nature. Despite the effect of Convulsions of Nature to flip the decks over, Parasite Paracide will still resolve its effect to special summon itself and take 1000 damage.

Curse of Fiend mechanically is literally a Trap Card. I have zero idea why they made it a spell. A NORMAL spell at that

We should bring back the face down attack position mechanic. Allow links to become face down. I don't understand why they get special treatment.

Started a MD account on my switch, opened a bundle and pulled royal ragin and nib randomly!
Fabled!

As a kid I use to run Parasite Paracide along side Insect Barrier to varied degrees of success on the play ground.

Mischief of the Time Goddess doesn't give you two battle phases. It skips the turn to your next battle phase, so the turn counter goes up by two. But you aren't getting two battle phases in one turn like the other cards.

So I actually did play a deck that utilized Convulsion of Nature, though it was not a good deck by any means. The entire point of the deck was to turbo out Ma'at, guaranteeing you'd call at least one card correctly for his effect.

I really love the idea of parasite paracide, literally infecting your opp's deck with your cards is amazing flavor. It is a shame we're never gonna see more cards like it even if that's for the best.

My Friend and I used convulsion of nature all the time at locals it was mostly a brick but it was funny watching my opponents reaction to the card. My Friend did use a playset of Mind crush and some other card to make some use out of it but it was mostly just for Fun.

parisite paricide was used in the early duel links days for weevil burn decks

Wow this style of video takes me back to the "Why nobody plays the Egyptian god card" videos. I love all the wheels and sagas, and they are the best ongoing series imho. I know they are a lot of work to make, but a video like this, sprinkled in between, is absolute golden ❤
