In his video we'll go over the worst fusion monsters in the game that actually have effects, because I didn't want to rank a lot of the bad non-effect vanilla monsters because there's not much to talk about with them.

ah yes, Dark Flare Knight, a prime example of an anime moment in card form. As cool as it was, they kept pulling boss monsters out of thin air for that duel.

I remember when we actually thought as kids that joey's flame swordsman was a good card... now we realise you need to fuse 2 monsters for 1800 atk😂

I remember getting Super Robolady from a card vending machine at a mall when I was a kid
I was so perplexed by how useless this card was, I went online and looked up Super Roboyarou, and I was even more confused

Actually, back when Magical Scientist was legal (especially during Yata-control days), Dark Flare Knight was used extensively because it was, at the time, the highest ATK fusion monster you could special summon with Scientist. It was part of the toolbox that also included Ryu Senshi, Dark Balter the terrible and possibly Thousand-Eyes Restrict. There were other niche uses for them too like summoning Dark Sorceror.

i love marine neos in duel links, since you can easily bring it out using only a neos in grave and keeper of dragon magic that searches fusion tag

Elemental Hero Inferno: Gains 1, 000 ATK when it battles a Water monster.
Water Dragon: I could care less about Inferno's boost.

The Fusion Deck didn't actually have an upper limit until it was renamed Extra Deck and Synchro Monsters debuted.
Elemental HERO Inferno appeared in the manga, not the anime.

I wish they would add more support for the ABC/XYZ Dragon archetype. It was always such a neat idea to me. As a kid I built an XYZ Dragon deck and I topped at locals so many times with a modified ABC structure deck when that came out. I’ve always thought they deserved more respect.

I remember constantly playing marine neon as a kid because it was one of the only neo-spaciest neo monsters I owned. I mean that’s changed since I was a kid but I still have that card in my deck for old times sake and I think I used a fusion substitute instead of the dolphin

If Inferno had the Manga effect of being able to pull any 1 spell card from either graveyard to its owner's hand, it'd be an AMAZING card.
