Dude is actually a really good teacher. Being right next to one learning and talking. Being brand new to the hobby, rhis looks extremely fun.

Started on a Flex, then gave it to my Daughter and purchased a Black Carve.
Carve was the perfect upgrade and Daughter is lovin the Flex (on 105 clouds)
My carve is on the new 150AT air filled and definitely my favorite set up. Smooth, comfortable, goes over anything, and 30+ mph!! Luv my Dk trucks and Luvin my Black Carve (500miles no issues)

Hi Ronnie, I really like the fact that you have two different riders with different boards to try dkp and see how they like it. I hope you can do more video like this in the future. Happy new year!

I just got the new Boundmotor direct drive setup, and I absolutely love the DKP trucks. They're a bit scary at high speeds, but tightened down a little they feel stable and I can still steer even better than with reverse kingpin. It also feels so much more stable. Even with 6" pneumatic tires it feels more stable than my old trucks on 90mm wheels because the trucks are so much wider.

I've bought a couple Boundmotor direct drive sets for diy projects and they came with the same style front and rear trucks. I know this sounds crazy, but I took the extra kingpins from the rears out (they work fine as standard trucks) and I added them to the front trucks to make triple kingpin fronts. I also replaced all the bushings so that they are progressively stiffer as they get closer to the deck. I then added the rear riser set ups from a Waterborne Surf adapter set (with stiff and fatty bushings) to still allow board lean. Now the rear isn't over-turning in so sharply, while the front turns super smooth and progressive.

Double king pin trucks give longboards the ability to turn much sharper than they would be able to otherwise. I have a bamboo deck evolve & I do agree it’s less stable at higher speeds, but you adjust your riding & set up to suit. (I ride the OneWheel Pint every day also & that takes unstable to another level, which in turn makes my longboard seem stable....lol)

Really interristing vidéo, thank you for it ! I have to say that the great advantage of these DKP trucks is that i can feel the sharp turn of a snowboard in snow or, the feeling i have when i go for a wakeboarding session... And if i want a better control over 50km/h, i tight more the kingpin of the "board side" ("road side" can be loosen more) specially the rear truck. It stabilizes a lot the board and it gives you the feeling of standard trucks.

Apples and oranges. DKP trucks (at least the ones widely available, ie Evolve style) are not designed for speed and stability, they’re for sharp turns. You can adjust them for high speed stability but RKP trucks are better for that. Each have their pros and cons but I always see people tighten their DKP trucks to the point where bushings are deformed to behave more like RKP trucks. I rarely see people loosen their RKP trucks to be as loose as possible or swap out their barrel bushings for cones. People make their eboards as stable as possible and then when they get on a board with DKP trucks they’re like oh wow it turns so well. Well duh.

DKP if you're a surfer/snowboarder. That carvy feel never gets old

I own them all. I gotta say I love the waterborne surf adapter with rkp trucks the best. I'd love to other brands of surfskate trucks.

I've got the onsra and I feel comfortable riding between 25 and 30 miles per hour. It is my first DKP truck board and is set up a bit stiffer than it comes from the factory, but still looser than an RKP Set up. My first Eskate was the The NLS and comparing the two is not possible in my opinion. There was a learning curve. but eventually I was able to ride DKP trucks like a regular longboard. TLDR I love my DKP trucks

I have a Wowgo 3x just my tip but there are other ways to carve. I think one of the easiest way to carve is the hip dance that's the best way to carve. Left, right, left, right side to side.

As a newbie to eskate I have nothing to compare to but a regular skateboard. Since I never been on long board either. Double king pin a on electric longboard feels great.
