Tesla Model Y impressions after 1 week...The good and the not so bad

Nice video Rick. At 4:30 trying to search for an address either on Google or either Google or Apple maps, hit the share button and select the Tesla icon. Your search will move ‘magically’ to your car’s screen

Regarding search, this isn't obvious, but you can share a URL, video, or address to the Tesla app on your sharing options, and it will load it on the car display :) It's great for sending addresses because it automatically navigates to it.

For sharing the location from your phone to your tesla, do this:
Click share on your phone then click tesla (tesla app required)

Hey Rick, just want to letting you know. There is YouTube channel for Tesla Cam it’s a channel for family and others watch what to expect on the road or sentry mode on their Tesla. Or if you’ve a video want to submit it’s called “Wham Baam TeslaCam”

Secondary, I’m down the road Tesla will release Apple CarPlay once if Apple announce it.

Use Apple Maps to search for an address then click the share button and choose the Tesla app. It will then be in your car. I do it all the time.

How do you like the 7 seater? Was it worth it to buy the car with it? I picked up my LRMY in late may…..& it has been a dream…….but then again…..i have been driving a fiat 500e since dec 2017. The range on it is 87….its a great car……but i could only go to work & do a few errands….. i let a coworker drive it ( Who was an anti EV guy)……he liked it so much…..he now owns a mustang Mach e……& will be getting his performance MY next week! Enjoy your car…….i thought i would hate not having Sirius…..but the streaming service is quite great!! Have fun!

The accelerating drops the 4.8 to 4.2 seconds … why wouldn’t you do that ?

It takes some time to learn .. Not really ! 2 days, just the same as any other new car you might have purchased.

Apple Car play is supported in cheap cars (Ford Kia etc ) … It’s ugly as hell, why the fuck would you want it in a Tesla ?
