I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

I wish everyone spoke like you do (no upspeak) and design and edit their videos like you. Nicely done!

I’ve been watching Tesla videos for about three months. By far the best one yet. Nice job.

I agree with you. I absolutely love my Model Y, but may be open to a different EV in the future. Tesla needs to step up the quality and customer service for the prices they are charging.

Great Video, thanks. I gotta say, I have owned Mercedes for the last 25 years, and many of the same problems surface on brand new mercedes suvs. engines quit/die. car fails to start because of a switch or sensor, and on and on. Power steering units fail, and last of all, fit and finish issues as well. brake issues. most of my friends are loyal bmw guys, and even more issues with bimmers, so I honestly believe that ANY mass produced vehicle, no matter what engine or drive train will have similar issues, that once in a while, cannot be avoided.

My Model Y Review After 1 Year (TRUE COST OF OWNERSHIP)

This video was so accurate and well done. I agree with the price increase not being worth it. I ended up getting the model X because the model Y at the time increased dramatically to $85k. I wanted the model Y because like he said, it checks all the boxes for most. But when the price increased so much in a short period of time, it honestly just was not luxurious enough to justify it. It is a tech car that’s fun, it’s not a luxury brand. I agree with him too- once it’s time for me to consider another car again, due to the quality issues- i may end up going back to previous luxury brands instead too.

So glad I found your channel, I too live in Michigan. I've almost pulled the trigger a few times on a EV, and every time I back out due to cold and winter range loss. It feels that now the EV sales are slowing, availability will be better.

Great honest straight to the point review! I haven’t come across a review that doesn’t mention design flaws or early month service tickets. This is the only thing stopping me from buying a Tesla

I've had my Model Y Performance for 12 months. 30k miles driven. Refilled the window wiper fluid twice. Replaced the 2 rear tires from wear and tear with Tesla which cost me about $1, 000. No other service issues. In July 2021 I paid 68k out the door. Wrapped the car and ceramic coated the entire vehicle for $10k.

1. Exterior and interior is a cheaper quality compared to other car companies.

2. Manually closing the front trunk correctly can be difficult at times.

3. Acceleration is amazing, but the ride is bumpy compared to other premium crossovers.

4. The touchscreen is the most responsive and user-friendly compared to any other vehicle manufacturer in the market.

5. The Tesla fast-charging network is #1 compared to other car companies.

6. So much fun to drive. I'm probably never going to buy another ICE vehicle.

7. Quality of life improvements make getting in and out of your car extremely easy.

Aren’t these things like <$40k now?

The Y now with with Performance is $49k including their “7500”
Government subsidy. So they did drop in price a fair bit.

Just ordered my model Y performance today. $53, 990 and it meets all tax rebates so glad the prices came down 10 grand and I'll get it in three weeks 😊

The most honest review I’ve seen, “Tesla are not premium, except for the price”. Wow not the bumper was falling off 😂

Thank you. Excellent, down to earth, short, concise, get to the point review. As another commenter mentioned, I agree with you 100%. Keep up the great job!

We absolutely love our 3 after 4 months, and can’t wait to get our Y soon (8 month wait). I wish we could keep both. Our 3 has had no issues, on delivery or afterwards. I think they are definitely working on the quality issues.
And like you said, you could get more range if you drove without so much acceleration, but that’s no fun. Lol

$64k?!? I just picked up my 2024 MYLR last week. I paid extra for white seats, tow hitch and ultra red paint. After tax incentive and discount on Tesla site: $44, 800. I am loving it. It took 16 days from the day I ordered to when I was driving it off the lot.

This was a great video. Super easy to follow and no fluff. Idk if I’ll watch any of your other stuff but I’m subbing just to support. Great job!

I suppose if that Tesla charger is out of stock (and you know you'll be buying a tesla). You might as well get that thing well in advance and even have it hooked up in your garage. Then at least you know you'll have it and you can come home on day 1 and charge. It would be cool to have electric snowblower, lawnmower with tesla batteries too! all of them charging with the same plug. That would be awesome!
