There's actually a lot that suggests VT doesn't drop the first bomb. For those interested:
- Janey's not in a vault when the bombs drop. (Barb is so influential that I'd hesitate to imagine any world in which she okays the bomb being dropped with her daughter unsecured)
- Vaults were unfinished. (VT wants to secure the investments of its shareholders and the experiments within)
- Mr. House misspredicted the bombs being dropped. (if there was prediction at all that means someone beat VT to the punch, assuming VT informed him of their date)
- We are not shown VT detonating a bomb, even if they intended to.

In the end, House was more "right" than Vault-Tec, his AA defenses managed to make Vegas stand the test of time, while many of the vaults failed.

Counterpoint: Mr. House hated his organic voice because it wasn't classy enough and used a classier voice module for his computer voice.

To be honest, House's voice in the games seems slightly "computerised" or whatever you'd call it, which makes sense as you're not speaking to him directly. Also, you have to take into account that House is much younger in the show than in the game. Even if you disregard all of that, you have to be realistic and understand it was surely very hard to find an actor who could act, look and sound like House from the game, since the voice actor who voiced mr House in New Vegas has passed a few years back.

Just as a reference: René Auberjonois played a similar in tone character in the show Stargate SG-1, so using those voice clips for AI voices would probably give us higher quality meme rips.

Mr. House was a awesome character because he did the best with a bad situation, barely defending vegas, trying to get the system running, barely breathing some life and order into new vegas before the ncr arrives


Mr. House was one of the most smartest and calculating players in the mojave and yet his plan was always very close to failing

I like the shows interpretation of House - he's meant to be a cocksure, arrogant younger version of the wiser House we see in FNV. Still has that cold calculating streak, but is wittier and more sarcastic.

The problem with Mr. House in the TV show is that he would be completely against the death of countless human resources.

Not out goodness of his heart, but because he is a legitimate business man and understands that massive loss to the economy it would create to lose so many consumers.
