I can tell you, in my experience volunteering to help out in a Bible translation project and being involved in the 2001 project, it's no walk in the park! And I've witnessed a lot of bias in various translations when looking through many manuscripts and interlinears.

It's one thing we try our utmost to avoid. No matter what ideas or theological positions we have. The text, language and culture of the time in relation must always take priority in such projects. And it takes a very, very long time to sift through the noise of years of tradition in ways you've never imagine until you're actually in that space.

What i try to do is use different Bible's, and then i Pray and rely on these scripture's From the Father, that the Truth be made known to me so i can go out and teach other's, Matthew 11:25-30, John 14:6, John 14:16, John 14:26, John 15:26, John 16:7, Proverbs 1:23, Proverbs 2:1-5, Excellent video always look forward to more video's from you, keep up the good work.

Such a great point about inherent bias of any one particular translation Eric. This is so important for the reader and Bible student to discern. It is also vital to compare spiritual with spiritual(1Cor.2:13).

The Bible is like a box of puzzle pieces and they need to be precise to fit together.

I have communicated with the editor of the 2001 translation and queried him on why so many contractions in the translation text. His answer to me was "to make it more readable". Personally I find that unacceptable as there is no evidence that contractions in the original manuscripts exist. So you may have noticed that when reading 📚 from the translation I edit my reading 📚 by reducing the contractions to their full two word base.

The Living Bible by Tyndale is a good translation due to it being easy to read, you will not want to put it down. But it's also a paraphrase which has to be approached with some caution and a lot of cross referencing with other translations is necessary when you come across some scriptures presented in a way that's unfamiliar.
