I replaced all mounts on my 2010 Impala, but it seems to kick/jerk when i shift from parking to reverse, at times it kicks pretty hard, anyone knows what it could be?
A transmission solenoid maybe?

I just did the job I did it from the I took the passenger tire off I would suggest that you cut away the bad rubber with a steak knife so you can use your socket better cut away the bad

I say wrap-cover that new mount, before installing, in some discarded durable plastic bag/packaging and use some clear box tape to secure around it.
This way, petroleum oils which leak out of the seals of our old engines won’t be able to drip on and degrade the edpm rubber mount, causing another failure!

Take care

Bro you gotta show us where the bolt is at, you got the camera zoomed in so far you can’t tell where it is

If these bolts are not properly tightened would it cause vibrations during hard acceleration and also make the engine not run as smooth?

Do you have to loosen the upper motor mount to raise the motor to replace the hydraulic motor mount

Never tighten bolts until all bolts are in place, it makes life a lot easier, Now as far as the nuts on the bracket you have no choice because you won't be able to reach them later
