VW Golf 2.0 Engine Mount Replacement (All 3) | DIY

Does your engine clunk around when you shift or go over bumps? Could be bad engine mounts.

In today's episode we are replacing all 3 engine mounts on a '03 VW Golf 2.0. This is the same procedure for the VR6 as well.

The green bolts are single use stretch bolts. You should always replace them

DO NOT USE 100NM ON THE DOG BONE MOUNT! (Unless you have new bolts)
I tried to and stripped the socket into the trans. Apparently this is notorious for golfs of the era to do this, please don’t be like me!
