It's like when you wear certain costumes on Odyssey, Bowser will react. He "audibly" trembles when he sees the zombie and skeleton costumes despite saying otherwise.

I like how they had flavor text for certain characters you play as in the final fight through Bowser but also when you attempt to be a daredevil with the invisbility. Of course Bowser is empowered by a Wonder Flower and is the Castle himself so he can see through the Invisibility.

The detail they put into this game is unreal

I love the implication that in this form Bowser has the ability to see through illusions and stuff.
