Your hands can pick up a few million germs from the world around you. But hand washing only became standard practice in hospitals in the 1840s. So what if you just stopped washing your hands? Well, you might become exposed to a number of viruses, from respiratory viruses like the influenza virus to norovirus, a severe stomach bug. But if you keep not washing, you might end up with even worse illnesses. Here's what would happen if you stopped washing your hands forever.

This helps prevent infections because: People frequently touch their eyes, nose, and mouth without even realizing it. Germs can get into the body through the eyes, nose and mouth and make us sick👍

Bradley Corp put out that of the 1k surveyed only 57% in January of 2021 were washing their hands 6-15 times a day and 43% were washing them 0-5 times a day. It’s on their website but the pandemic is still going and washing hands is important regardless because humans touch so much stuff. Also doesn’t hurt to clean a phone without its protective case on too from time to time either.
