You should do a battery test between the M1 and M2 13inch MacBook pros. The only difference will be the chip, and that way, we can see just how much more engery efficient the M2 chip really is

Could you do the same test but have them on low power mode? The M2 is more efficient on low power mode than the M1 so it should last much longer

Thank you so much for your hard work and sharing this. But two questions came to my mind. First of all, how was the battery health of the two devices? Then the m2 air screen brightness is 500nit and the m1 air is 400nit. Is it the right approach to equate both devices to 70%?

From what I see, the m1 is worth it, it's thinner and there's not much difference from the m Price
