M2 air has brighter display, more powerful cpu cores and gpu cores as well as 1 additional gpu core and it's still the same as m1 air.
M2 is a beast.

Coming from crappy laptops in the past, to my m1 MacBook Air, I'm very impressed. I don't even need to bring my charger with me. Dang thing lasts for literal days. I thought my battery was bad at first, because it was only lasting 4 hours, turns out vscode has a bug on m1 Macs that causes massive battery drain, I uninstalled it and my Mac went up to 18 hrs from 4 hrs.
