Guy waffled the whole video, he basically just says to turn on Low power mode on. Get to the point

Use low power mode—the whole video.
I just saved you 10min.

So, long story short - turn on Low Power Mode.

Just click the battery logo for low power mode option. You don’t need a separate shortcut to complicate your life 😅

The video's title is "10 Ways to BOOST your MacBook's Battery Life!" where are the 10 ways? I feel like this is the type of clickbait that should be banned from YouTube for wasting the time of a lot of people. UNLIKED and UNSUBSCRIBED.

A wonderful example of under-appreciated improvements made by Apple engineers when they designed this M2 chip

Yes, this did change my thinking on recommending M2 MacBooks. I've been taking advantage of low power mode on the 14" M1 MBP and didn't realize the effect is greater on the M2. Thank you.

I wish there was a way to enable low power but keep promotion 120hz, that's the only thing keeping me from using this

First he tells you that the new generation of Macbook M2Pros are worse. Now they ”discover” how much powerful they are. Stay away from Youtube channels like this, folks

Reelly sucks you have to sacrifice the 120hz for this, its one of the main selling points and what makes the MBP so nice to use. Only if you could use the low power mode and 120hz at the same time.

This is indeed M2's killer feature! Even a 11 or 12 inch MacBook would get considerable battery life using M2 and "Low Power"-mode. I hope Apple is going to reconsider selling an ultra portable laptop. They might wait for three nanometer chips …

I used the built-in setting to use low power mode when on battery, regular mode when charging

Since the advent of the iPhone, I’ve long awaited Apple silicon Macs because the performance per watt would significantly surpass conventional processors.

Having owned an Intel iMac for almost 11 years, the M1 MacBook Air was tempting. I am glad I waited for the M2 MacBook Air because of the significant performance improvements in low power mode.

I am utterly astonished that the M2 MacBook Air can achieve such performance while consuming less than 5 watts. I wish we had this available sooner, & look forward to the future of power efficient performance computing.

Amazing analysis. The details and parameters chosen to be presented is perfect in helping me make a decision…

a set of GPU benchmarks for low power mode on different macbooks is what's really missing to get the whole picture. great video nonetheless.
